v0.1.0 — Scaffold release
The skeleton is in. Capture, store, and retrieve — everything else builds on this.

- •One-tap capture on iOS and Android.
- •Offline-first storage with end-to-end encrypted sync.
- •Map view and timeline view of your archive.
- •Eight languages scaffolded (EN live, others ship as translations land).
v0.1 is the smallest useful version of VisNote. It does three things:
- Capture. Photo, location, audio, and a free-text note, all in one tap.
- Store. Encrypted on-device; optional sync if you want it on the web.
- Retrieve. Map, timeline, and full-text search across everything you’ve kept.
That’s it. We shipped the minimum scaffolding so the rest of the roadmap has something to sit on. Feed, sharing, and the AI-assisted recall views are next. None of them make sense without a solid capture → store → retrieve loop.
Known gaps
- No import from existing camera rolls yet. We’re deliberately holding this one — it’s a UX problem, not a technical one.
- No desktop app. The website is read-only for now.
- Translations are stubbed for 7 locales. English is the authored version.
